On 30 August 2022 Vaughan Mills, President of the Australia Papua New Guinea Business Council, and Mark Baker, Immediate Past President, with some representatives of some other members of the Council met with Australian Foreign Minister Senator the Hon Penny Wong at a dinner in Port Moresby hosted by Australian High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea, HE Mr Jon Philp. The occasion provided an opportunity for a discussion with the Minister on current issues for Australian business in Papua New Guinea. The Council’s thanks go to the Minister and the High Commissioner for creating this opportunity.
