Membership of the Australia Papua New Guinea Business Council

Membership of the Council is essential for any Australian company doing business in Papua New Guinea, or looking to do so. Membership is open to any company or individual who supports the Council’s goals.

It also provides members with an all-important network to help further their business goals in Papua New Guinea.

How much does membership cost?

There are two classes of membership available for businesses or individuals to join the Australia Papua New Guinea Business Council. These are:

Full Member – AUD $2550 per annum (including GST)*
A body (whether a corporation or an unincorporated body) engaged in or otherwise interested in trade and commerce between Australia and Papua New Guinea and which carries on business in Australia and Papua New Guinea.

* a Papua New Guinea Kina rate of PGK5,750 is available on request for applicants domiciled in Papua New Guinea.

Associate Member – AUD $675 per annum (including GST)
A person who is a nominee of a department of the Federal, State or Provincial Government of Australia, a nominee of a university, college or similar institution and organisations with less than four employees. An Associate Member has no rights to participate in the management of the Council as an Executive Committee member or to vote at general meetings of the Council.

For new members joining the Business Council, your membership is valid for 365 days from the day the payment is received by the Council. Each member company is then billed annually for their membership.

How do I join?

New Membership enquiries are welcome, you can join any or all of the Business Councils. To register your interest in joining the APNGBC, please download the membership form  and send to us.

Payment is accepted via Credit Card (Mastercard, Visa, and AMEX) or Direct Deposit.
